Making a difference

Employers Mutual makes a difference to injured workers (and therefore lower premiums / levies) by providing an excellent service to our employer members.

We care

Injured workers need to get back to work without delay to maintain their quality of life. Employers want lower premiums that only come through injury prevention and positive return to work outcomes. We gain our job satisfaction by making a constructive/positive difference to workers and employers.

Partnership with employers

We recognise that employers can make the biggest difference in claims outcomes. As specialists in workers’ compensation, we seek to support employers through the process, assisting them in achieving the best possible outcomes.

Our people

Our team based structure focuses on developing our people through formal training and on the job quality control. Our culture supports individual responsibility for achieving outcomes.

Additional resources

As a Mutual, established for the benefit of our employer members, we are more willing to apply additional resources to ensure good claims outcomes. We believe the most effective of these resources are the lower caseloads and efficient IT system, allowing our people to operate on smaller number of policies and claims in a more efficient manner.

From speaking to a real person when you call Employers Mutual, through to Internet reporting of claims and the quick, active and regular engagement of our people with workers and employers, we demonstrate our commitment to achieving positive outcomes.

We have standard systems, designed to provide the best possible outcomes for injured workers and employers. The regular documented reviews of practices by our senior and experienced people ensure a consistently high quality of service.

Our company objective is to provide the best possible service to our members.

We achieve this objective by developing our people. We will continue to enhance our people’s skills and resources to ensure that we remain the premier service provider in each market in which we operate. We focus our people on customer service directly and in conjunction with our partner insurance brokers.

Workers need to achieve return to work without delay to maintain their self image and quality of life. Employers want the return to work of productive staff and to achieve lower premiums (which is only possible through achieving return to work). Our role is providing a high quality professional service to employers and their injured workers, bringing together their common interests.
